MAURITIUS, The Priental Bank Corporation, unissued cheque, 18.. (C.1848?), originally denominated in dollars but overprinted in rupees. The word dollars and the `$' sign have been overprinted in red with the words `Rupees' and the ~Rs' sign. A rare early Mauritius cheque. Nearly uncirculated.
