COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA, war savings certificate, World War I (1917-1919) for one pound, A096308-09 (WA1), consecutive pair of notes. A096308 signed and issued 31st August 1918, payable 31st August 1921; A096309 signed and issued 20th January 1919, payable 20th January 1920, both notes with imprint 'T.S.Harrison Australian Note Printers' and signature of Jas R.Collins as Secretary to the Treasury. Both notes with pinholes, A096309 with three small tears through top border, fine - nearly very fine. (2)
