EGYPT, Kingdom of, Cleopatra III and Ptolemy IX, (116-107 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.272 grams), Alexandria mint, issued year 7 = 111-110 B.C., obv. head of Ptolemy I to right wearing aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front LZ, to right **PA*, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, (cf.S.7921, Sv.1668, cf.SNG Cop 351, cf.Pitchfork 102). Toned, good very fine and scarce.
