ANOTHER, in bronze as previous edge inscribed John Dunning 22nd May 1897, together with Board of Trade Long Service with Rocket Life Saving Apparatus medal (GV 1911) inscribed to 'Charles Flemming' and Royal Life Saving Society bronze medal to W.F. Lee August 1911. Sold with photocopy of case 28,910, very fine-extremely fine. (3)

Ex Spink Sale 8 (lot 646). John Dunning, seaman, attempted a gallant rescue of H. Harvey who unfortunately drowned in the Bay of Naples 22nd May 1897.
