THEODOSIUS II, (402-450), gold tremissis, Constantinople mint, obv. diademed, draped and cuirassed bust to right of Theodosius II, around D N THEODO SIVS P F AVG, rev. Victory advancing to right, head to left, with wreath and cross on globe, star in right field, around VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM, CONOB in exergue, (RIC 36 [regards this issue as R4], S.4293). Large flan, very fine and very rare.
